About Kimnastix

I have been coaching gymnastics for over 20 years. Creating the Kimnastix community for children of all ages and abilities has been one of my greatest achievements.

Watching children grow as gymnasts, and creating pathways for them to become coaches is so very rewarding.

I hold an Advanced Silver Accreditation in Women’s Gymnastics. Along with accreditations in Kindergym, Acrobatics and Judging. It keeps me busy but I always have a smile for everyone crossing my path.

Kimnastix is for all of the children of the rainbow.

My name is Cal Puntigam and I have been coaching Gymnastics for since I was in high school, working here at Kimnastix since its opening.

I have represented New South Wales in Breakdancing, Sports Acrobatics and competed in Trampoline sports. Working at Kimnastix I am able to pass on my love and knowledge for Gymnastics to the children that I coach and I am still able to learn every day.

Hi, my name is Miss Katie and I run the Under 5’s and Inclusion programs here at Kimnastix.

My job is to keep the children happy and healthy, and most of all HAVE FUN!

I love to help children expand their minds, whilst participating in such a beneficial sport. Not only do they learn from the experience, but it helps me learn and develop as a coach. Every day I feel lucky to have learnt something new by working at Kimnastix.

We are Brooke + Bree, sisters who started gymnastics as toddlers, and it has been a part of our lives ever since.

Bree joined Kimnastix in 2011 and competes in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics. Brooke has trained in dance for 16 years and achieved many qualifications that have helped her transition into coaching Gymnastics.

We both have a genuine love of the sport and are always looking to further our coaching accreditation. We look forward to inspiring young children & helping them develop their skills in a fun, friendly environment.

My name is Paige and I have loved gymnastics ever since I was 6 years old. 

I have competed in WAG and Trampoline. I love coaching at Kimnastix because of the positive environment. It allows everyone to learn and grow. 

Gymnastics has great values you can carry throughout your life. 

My goal as a coach is to help you reach your maximum potential and to achieve ever skills of your dreams, as well as having so much fun along the way!

Hi, my name is Sierra, and I’m a level 7 gymnast here at Kimnastix . I have been doing gymnastics since I was 2 years old where I started in the Kindergym program.

I love gymnastics because I get to spend time with my coaches and teammates. Gymnastics pushes you beyond your limits, I love the feeling of achieving a new skill, pushing through my fears and giving it go. I have been Hunter Champion across numerous years. I’ve grown up having the gym be my whole life and now I can share my love and passion for the sport with other kids.

I’ve been part of the Kimnastix family since 2016. 

I enjoy gymnastics because once I step on the floor, I only have to think about Gymnastics. It’s a refuge, and a chance to see how far I can go. 

I love coaching as it’s an opportunity to help foster determination and passion in all of the athletes. Seeing them learn to apply themselves and grow their self-confidence is priceless.

Hi my name is Emily, I started gymnastics when I was 3 and move to squad at 5. In 2019, I was lucky enough to represent Kimnastix in the Hunter Regional  and placed 2nd in the NSW state comp!

As a competitive gymnast, I have progressed through the levels and learnt many new skills. I really enjoy being a coach and love teaching the children new skills and watching their faces when they achieve their goals. I’m looking forward to always progressing my coaching accreditations & growing as a coach.

Hi, my name is Jess, I’m a coach here at Kimnastix. I started gymnastics when I was only 3 years old, and ever since, I’ve been in love with it!

As a competitive gymnast myself I have progressed through the levels and feel really proud whenever I achieve a new skill.

My name is Kristy, I’m a primary school teacher with a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education. 

I’ve been a teacher since 2016 and a gym Mum for the since 2015 with Kimnastix.

Hi, I’m Ainsley and I’m a coach here a Kimnastix. I am a level 6 gymnast and have been doing gymnastics since I was 3. I enjoy it so much; I’ve learnt so many new things at Kimnastix and have made so many friends.

I have been coming to Kimnastix since I was a little girl. I have learned so many new things and have met some amazing people along the way. 

One thing I love about coaching is seeing the little one’s faces light up with excitement every time they learn a new skill. There are so many things I enjoy about gymnastics, but I especially love showing off all the new things I can do!

Hi, my name is Chloe and I am a level 7 gymnast here at Kimnastix. I have been doing gymnastics since I was 6 years old.

I especially love the feeling I get when achieving a new skill and I have learnt to always give new things a go instead of being afraid to try something.

Whilst attending Kimnastix as a gymnast, I progressed to being a Junior Coach which I really enjoy. I get to share my love and passion for gymnastics with other children.

My name is Tarryn and I manage the admin at Kimnastix.

I have worked in Admin & Customer Service for over 12 years – previously in Financial Services, Property Services, and & Childcare sectors.

I love my role at Kimnastix. I enjoy being back in an environment that nurtures & facilitates the growth and development of children. I love being able to help a business become more organised and take some of the pressure off the day to day running of the business backend.

I’ve been doing gymnastics since I was a young child.

I started coaching at Kimnastix in 2022 and really enjoy getting to know all the kids and to help them push past their fears,
improve skills and be the best they can be!

Hi, my name is Hayley. I am a High-Level gymnast at Kimnastix. I have been a part of the Kimnastix family since I was 5 years old, as a gymnast in the recreational program. I am now working as a coach across the recreational programs.

My name is Bec and gymnastics has been a part of my life since I was a little kid. I competed until my early teens then began coaching.

As an adult I returned to gymnastics training and then found other aerial sports where I could continue my love of competing, coaching and being upside down.

After a 20-year career in movement and recovery, I love teaching technique and progressive improvement for a better functioning gymnast.

My passion for gymnastics has been with me since I was 6 years old and I now share this passion while coaching.

As a coach, I love guiding and aspiring little gymnasts with the dedication and enthusiasm that fuelled my own journey.

In my world of flips and vaulting, I step away from reality and find my true self. I strive to help others reach new heights and love to create incredible bonds with the gymnasts, similar to those I share with my gym family.

Gymnastics offers a wide range of physical, mental, developmental benefits for all ages and abilities and I’m committed to helping children achieve their goals, develop their skills and find their own love for the incredible sport, just like I did.

I was introduced to gymnastics at the tender age of 8, when I attended a sports day in year 3. I will never forget trying all the cool equipment, the little drills and games I played that day! I loved it so much I came home at the end of the day and practically begged my mum and dad to sign me up for classes.

I played many sports as I grew up- Kempo, soccer, rugby league, but the idea of gymnastics never left me – so when I found out about some Adult Recreational classes at another gym, I signed up straight away!

I eventually found Kimnastix and it was here I found my gymnastics home!

As a gymnast, the coaches helped me progress far beyond what I’d ever been able to do before, which inspired me to start my journey as a coach.

My favourite things about being a coach is helping others in the same way my coaches helped (and still continue to help) me, as well as seeing that ‘lightbulb’ moment when a student performs a new skill for the first time. Nothing beats that!

Hey, I’m Bryce. I participated in gymnastics for 15 years at PCYC in Taree, training and competing in Acro, Tumbling and GFA. During this time, I competed at State and Nationals yearly as well as being a representative at the 2007 World Gymnaestrada and 2011 Japanese Festival of Gymnastics.

I retired in 2016 after moving to the Central Coast and began focusing on my career in Property Management. I recently returned to the gym for the first time in 7 years and realised how much I loved being a part of a gym family so now I’m stoked to say I am back into it and sharing my passion through coaching, whilst balancing my career in Real Estate.

I started Gymnastics at Kimnastix when I was 9yrs old and I loved it so much, I decided to go one step further and become a coach.

I love being a Coach as it teaches me so much. I am constantly learning more every day. I find enjoyment in seeing my students reach their goals. I enjoy seeing them so happy and proud of themselves when they achieve a new skill etc.

Hello, my name is Jai.

I have been learning tumbling since I was five years old. My grandfather was a State Champion multiple times in his youth and he has been sharing his skills, and his passion for the sport, with me.

I began Parkour lesson at Kimnastix back in 2016 and am very passionate about it. I also have some Gymnastics and Trampolining experience.

I love learning new skills and improving my own physical and mental abilities. Being able to pass this on to the children as a coach is very rewarding.

Hello! My name is Kaitlin and I joined the Kimnastix coaching team at the start of 2023.

I have a background in dancing, participating in various styles, consistently ballet since I was 5 years of age. I have a real passion for creative movement and encouraging kids to have fun and get active.

My favourite thing about being a Kimnastix coach is seeing young people gain skills and confidence, not only in Gymnastics, but life in general. I love being active with the kids and teaching them fundamental skills that can aid in everyday movement whilst in an inclusive and supportive environment.

Hi my name is Kiah!

I started gymnastics when I was 8 and joined the Kimnastix family when I was 10. I am now a competitive gymnast and a part of the Recreational Coaching team

Being a competitive gymnast at Kimnastix has shown me that I am capable of many skills and strengths, beyond anything I could have even imagined.

Now I am a coach, I hope to help encourage, support and inspire the children to step outside their comfort zone and fulfill their dreams just like my coaches and teammates did for me. There is no better feeling than achieving your goal or succeeding in something new and seeing their little faces light up with a smile is just icing on the cake.

Everyone starts somewhere and can only grow better from there and I want to be the one who can help others take that path.

Hi, my name is London!!

My love for gymnastics started in the Senior Rec program back in 2020 as a gymnast! I then progressed into the competitive program where I have been working my way through the levels. I began my coaching career in 2022 on the recreational programs and Junior WAG levels.

Kimnastix is an environment where I’ve learnt to respect my friends and coaches. I love training at Kimnastix because I can perform with confidence. I can step out of my comfort zone, and try new skills, which is why I’m so passionate about the sport.

As a Junior coach, I love to inspire young gymnasts to perform at their full potential and encourage them to develop new skills with a positive attitude!

I was born into Gymnastics. As a child and into my late teens, I competed in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics and Trampolining at State Level.

I have watched my own children live and grow through gymnastics and I enjoy the discipline and skills young people develop through Gymnastics.

I joined the coaching team at Kimnastix in 2023 focussing on the MAG boys Development Squad.

Men’s Artistic Gymnastics is a competitive program that builds strength, leadership and requires commitment of the young team to develop fitness, flexibility and positive goal setting for their future.
